Credits and Refund Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This policy explains how video credits inside Raku AI work, and how refunds and chargebacks affect them.
1. What a video credit is
A video credit is a digital entitlement consumed to use paid video solutions and related digital features. Current credit packs and their scope are shown on the purchase screen.
2. When a credit is spent
A credit may be spent when a video solution request is accepted for processing, or when the related digital entitlement described on the product screen is used. In the current product flow, one video solution request uses one video credit. This rule may change with product design, and the current rule is shown in the app.
3. Failed generation
If a video cannot be produced because of a technical error or processing failure, the credit may be restored or the transaction cancelled where appropriate.
4. Purchased credits and subscription entitlements
One-off credit packs and periodic entitlements granted through a subscription are not required to be managed the same way. Purchased credits, subscription entitlements, promotional grants, and other digital benefits may be tracked separately in the system.
5. Refunds, revocation, and chargebacks
If a store refund, a chargeback, or a store-side revocation of an entitlement occurs, the related unused digital entitlements may be withdrawn. Where the entitlements have already been used, an additional restriction or a recorded debt may result.
6. Negative balance and refund debt
If digital entitlements tied to a refunded or revoked purchase have already been consumed, the account may show a negative balance or a similar restriction. Access to paid video features may then be limited temporarily or permanently.
7. Transfer and cash value
- credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money
- as a rule, credits cannot be transferred to another account
- whether a given credit type resets at the end of a period depends on product design
8. Store rules take precedence
In-app purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund, and chargeback processes operate together with the rules and technical infrastructure of the relevant store. Final refund decisions may in certain cases be subject to the store platform's own processes.
